Yosemite + Wacom driver, not working? Intuos 5 Pro tablet Latest Wacom OS X drivers. OS: Mac OS X 10.10.2 Tablet: Intuos4. Download, install, or update Wacom Pen Tablet Driver for Mac from MacUpdate. (OS X 10.7) 5.3.6-6. Wacom Tablet Driver - For Intuos. Jul 4, 2011 - Is there anyone running the Lion GM who has tried using a Wacom pen tablet specifically Intuos 4? I just installed OS X Lion on my Macbook Pro. Skip, thank you as always, for your update information re Wacom drivers. A few other Mac Wacom owners might be similar to my situation. I own a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet (6″x11″ wide format), and am running Mac OS X 10.7.5 Lion. My current / most recent Wacom Intuos driver update is version 6.3.7-3; updated last year, as I recall. In looking at the current driver updates on the Wacom site, I see that — for Intuos — the latest Mac driver is version 6.3.11-3a. HOWEVER, be forewarned if you are running an OS lower than 10.8 Mountain Lion. The Wacom info indicates that this current version if for Mac OS X 10.8 to 10.10. ADDENDUM2 (sorry to go on like this, but)... I just got off the phone with Wacom Support. The tech rep told me that if my current driver 6.3.7-3 is working OK, he would not recommend that I update the driver to 6.3.8-2 (which is for 10.7, 10.8 and 10.9). At the time I updated my driver to 6.3.7-3, I did so by downloading it from the “Legacy Drivers” page on the Wacom site. It is odd, then, that that particular version is not now listed among the legacy drivers. For OS X 10.6, 10.7 and 10.8, there is a version 6.3.6-4. The next higher version listed is 6.3.8-2. But, 6.3.7-3 is absent. The tech rep could not account for its absence. Hey David, Thanks for the comments. I’m glad you kept going because it is helpful. I used to remind folks of the legacy drivers but haven’t lately. I keep my drivers believe it or not. I have them in my download folder for Wacom Drivers. Inside of the main folder I have the date the driver was released and the tablet I was using at the time. I still have my Intuos 3, 4, 5 touch and now my 24″ HD Touch Cintiq. I can’t carry the Cintiq around, but I can the 4 and 5. I really never use the 3 anymore. Anyway, the pointI noticed long ago that some drivers went missing. I suspect that they were faulty and replaced quickly. There have been a few times that we will get a new driver and then another new one within 10 days or soI figure those were faulty and whatever was wrong was missed in the testing phase. I do try to keep up with the latest tablets and drivers within reason. I have had the Cintiq less than a year, so I can’t justify getting the new 27″, but I sure would love toLOL. It is also time for me to start looking for a new computergawdkeeping up can be expensive. I agree if it is workingno need to update, but then, what if the update improves performance. You will not know unless you update. So if you keep your drivers, you can update with the knowledge you can fall back to the previous driver.
